$5,000 TO EVERY U.S. CITIZEN? WHEN DID ALL OF US BECOME SOCIALISTS?

LESSON: As we have stated for years, the government has NO MONEY. All they do is take YOUR MONEY and give it to themselves, other countries, and to others who do not work. Do not take any money from the government and become their slave!


Recently, the Administration promised $5,000 to every U.S. adult citizen if the current party “stayed in power.” I, of course, instantly remembered the Senior Class President promising pizza and ice cream everyday if elected. But, more importantly, I remembered my numerous blogs over the last ten years trying to teach people that the U.S. state and federal governments have No Money. They simply take yours and redistribute to absurd fraud, programs, and other countries, all which hurt all citizens, especially the recipients.


Today I was reminded of the President Ronald Reagan speech quoting Lincoln and Rev. William J.H. Boetcker’s Ten Cannots, summarized as “Don’t do for a man what he can do for himself,” to include “you cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong,” “you cannot help the poor man by destroying the rich,” and “you cannot build character by taking away a man’s independence.”


If the Government hands out $5,000, don’t take it! It will make you weaker! You will produce less revenue and income forward! That is the plan (see COVID).


Do not withhold too much tax withholding in your paycheck so you get money back at tax time. That is your own money you unwisely loaned to the government all year for 0% interest because you felt you were not mature and responsible enough to manage your own finances. Getting a check back at tax time is the ultimate insult to your intelligence!


Being a proud Veteran, many of my associates have urged me to file for Veteran Disability with the government. Through an involved process, this can result in a substantial monthly check for life for hearing loss, shoulder and knee pains, and a long list of physical and mental issues. There is a huge industry built around getting Veterans these disability payments for the incredible men and women who need them. Unfortunately, there is also a huge industry that gets guys like me the same payments even though I had a desk job for my military education and career. I declined all these offers to receive these checks, even though I sure could use them, because it would make me a slave to the government – especially after I risked 14 years of my life to fight their overreach and illegitimate prosecution, instead of accepting their offers. Don’t take the checks! It makes you weaker and ultimately much less wealthy and secure.


Finally, I remember a blog almost a decade ago where we described the government paying for your childcare. The government has no money, so you are literally taking your neighbor’s money to pay for your children’s care. You chose to produce these children, and they are a miracle. At least have the guts to go next door, and knock on their door, and ask for the check directly. That would show more character.


Don’t take the checks from the government (us) and don’t give them any more than you must. Get smart on tax structuring and preparation. You have no idea how much you are losing. Have a great week!
