PULLING BACK THE GREEN CURTAIN ON DOJ & FEDERAL COURT SYSTEM (PART VIII): IF ONLY THE GOVERNMENT CARED ABOUT THE VICTIMS

Lesson: If the government prosecutors aligned their mission with the victims, not their own means, the Department of Justice would have a fighting chance at fulfilling the Founding Fathers’ dreams of a just and safe nation.
This morning while getting my workout in at One Life Fitness and hoping all the young people didn’t notice how little weight was on my bar, I caught up on my news and interviews with the AirPods. Instead of relieving stress and increasing health, my blood boiled over listening to the story of the government destroying Trevor Milton and his company, Nikola, which built the revolutionary hydrogen zero emission long-haul trailer trucks. Bing Videos. It was the exact government playbook I battled for the last 13 years before reversing the court decisions 5 times and removing 2 federal judges from the case. They kill the golden goose valuable company and then it’s easy to kill you.
Government prosecutors, such as Brian Samuels, AUSA, and Katie Dougherty, AUSA, have such misaligned goals and objectives from our citizens that they destroy companies and entrepreneurs who create wealth out of nothing for our country, while, unfortunately as you see on the news daily, release violent criminals over and over to prey on our young and vulnerable. In the 70’s and 80’s we all believed the legal TV shows, but now the great majority of educated Americans understand the government prosecutor’s significant role in the destruction of our society and economy. There are no rules, no accountability, no oversight.
In Martinovich vs. United States, while I was on home confinement, the Bureau of Prisons one day called to tell me I had to immediately resign from my job with 55 Industries, an aerospace manufacturer supporting the US Air Force and US Army, with zero explanation. I later discovered there was no reason, only the action to block success and rehabilitation. Then, amazingly, the 55 Industries owner offered $500,000 to the government for my restitution to be paid immediately to the victims in order to allow me to work again with the company, with even the remainder to still be paid later. Brian Samuels, AUSA, and lead U.S. Attorney, Jessica Aber, refused to let the payment go the to the “victims.” Case 4:12-cr-00101-MSD-RJK Document 383 Filed 07/19/25. Clearly that was not their objective.
For Nikola, the company went public and was worth $34 Billion at the peak, until the government colluded with the activist short-seller Nathan Anderson and his firm Hindengurg Research to destroy it. Hindenburg leveraged millions on the company’s demise and reportedly coordinated with long-term friends in the U.S. government, Bloomberg, and CNBC, while the government implemented their 9-step playbook (in writing) to destroy the company in order for Hindenburg to realize a reported $100 million profit and the government prosecutors to extract another scalp. The white-shoe law firms who pray off this chaos (I know many of their clients), received $180 million in fees coordinating with the government before the trauma was over. This is the Model. Disgusting.
This week I ask you to root for the inventors, entrepreneurs, and Libertarians who build our country. Reminder, don’t believe for 2 seconds the government reports and especially the media’s ordered talking points. Be your own person this week! Have a great week! - from Jeff, not beautiful Ashleigh in the picture!
