THE INCREDIBLE PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY ARE THE COUNTRY – NOT THE POLITICIANS OR THE GOVERNMENT – SO CELEBRATE WILDY THIS WEEKEND!

LESSON: News and social media warp our perception of this one-of-a-kind incredible country. Turn it all off and celebrate the amazing citizens and history of this unique experiment. Patriotism is at an 80-year high!

You can feel it. Maybe it’s the 250th Birthday. Maybe it’s the FIFA World Cup in the United States. Maybe it’s the release of true feelings after so many years of focusing on how terrible our country and people are. No one really believed it, but it was crammed down our throats for decades. We went to bed feeling guilty but never knew why!

So maybe this year is the release of all that exhaustion and the new feeling of freedom for expressing our patriotism. People yearn to be inspired, to be part of a winning team, in business, family, and country.

The confluence of events this year has brought an incredible surge of love of country. World Cup fans posting millions of messages about how great America is, as they figure out how to smuggle back ranch dressing in their suitcase. International fans singing Neil Diamond songs to express how much they respect America. Norwegians shouting about great ribs and filets! And don’t forget the 2028 Olympics coming to Los Angeles – maybe we can keep it going until then.

All the drama over the Capitol reflecting pool cleanup is numbing, but everyone is happy that at least we now care and are doing something about it. Flyovers are expensive but at least everyone would rather spend their taxes here than on foreign wars. Fireworks are expensive but everyone would rather watch the spectacle of these instead of the spectacle of discovering fake charities and daycare centers. U.S. citizens want us to spend our time and money celebrating the incredible success of our Founding Fathers.

Of course, we have millions of problems, and we have more than most countries because we have nearly 350 million citizens and a massive economy. But if you turn off the corrupt news and grill some burgers with your neighbors this weekend, your soul will strangely feel so much better when you put your head on the pillow.

Focus on the good – in you, your family, your job, your friends, and your Country. God knows the Martinovich Family has our fair share to complain about the idiot politicians and corrupt government machines, but every morning we thank God for letting us be born in the United States of America. There is no better lottery ticket in the history of civilization.

Let’s fix what needs to be fixed – and the list is long – but let’s celebrate like wild Patriots this weekend. Long live the Republic! God Bless America – have a great week!
